Melrose Ave Wall Walkabout: LA’s Best Instagram Walls

Melrose Ave Wall Walkabout: LA’s Best Instagram Walls

You know all those colorful wall photos you see on Instagram? We have so many right here in Los Angeles and the trend isn’t stopping anytime soon. It helps attract people to businesses and it’s great Instagram fodder too! Read on to find LA’s Best Instagram Walls.

I put together a Melrose Ave Wall Walkabout because the street has such a good collection of them! Grab a friend and your camera and have fun snapping silly photos against these created backdrops. I even walked the route myself a couple months ago.

Watch my video of the walls here:

Colette Miller Wings on Pink Background:

8401 West 3rd Street, Los Angeles

These are my favorite wings in LA because the background is pink. Ha! Colette Miller painted these wings around the world as part of the Global Wings Project. You can read more about that here: http://colettemiller.com/angelwings

Made In LA Wall:

Cisco Home, 8025 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles

This neutral wall is a great backdrop for natives and tourists alike.

Rainbow Crochet Wall:

8050 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA

On the southwest corner of Melrose and Laurel(across the street from the Made In LA Wall) you’ll find a duo of colorful rainbows! This is a great wall for kids and adults because there are two rainbows sizes!

Pink Paul Smith Wall:

8221 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA

The infamous pink wall. No DSLRs are allowed. Go earlier in the morning on weekdays for your best chance at an unobstructed canvas.

Carrera Café Wall:

8251 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles

At this café across the street from Paul Smith, people like to take pictures as much inside as outside! This café has rotating murals, usually for movies.

House of CB, “I’m a Boss, Bitch” Window*:

8448 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood

This is a bit further down the road, but if you want to head into Melrose Place to do some shopping, why not stop by? House of CB has a huge pink display window that’s perfect for boss bitches everywhere.

*This window display has since been taken down, but House of CB has great seasonal window displays.
